Animals

Idioms

1. As blind as a bat = can’t see well = 視力が非常に悪い(コウモリと同じ位)
例文:Without my glasses, I’m as blind as a bat.

2. As sick as a dog = very sick =
I was as sick as a dog yesterday so I didn’t go to work.

3. As dumb as an ox = very dumb =
Why did you ask Tom? He’s as dumb as an ox.

4. As busy as a bee = very busy =
I’m as busy as a bee today so I don’t have time to chat.

5. As happy as a clam = very happy =
I’m as happy as a clam when I can’t relax, play video games, and drink beer.

That’s it!
