今日の話題は: All English

Hi! It’s been a little while since my last all English update so I thought I’d write a little about my favorite holiday, Halloween.

If you’ve never experienced Halloween in the US, it’s wonderful. Almost everyone participates in Halloween; people decorating their houses, restaurants serving special dishes, tv shows showing special spooky Halloween episodes, and more! As someone that loves horror movies, monsters, abd gross stuff, Halloween is a magical time.

One of my favorite things about Halloween is that it is not connected to religion in any way, unlike many American holidays. In fact, many conservative christians are against Halloween because they see it as Satanic.

Though I am a huge fan of Halloween, I don’t celebrate it much in Japan. I decorate my house a little, and watch a few scary movies but I don’t dress up and I don’t go to Halloween parties. Why? Because Halloween is not the same in Japan. It disappoints me and makes me homesick for Halloween in America.

If you ever have the chance to experience Halloween in America, you definitely should. Hail Satan!

That’s it!
