Better Than Nothing

October 3, 2017

Idioms

「It's better than nothing.」

A: I bought ten JUMBO lottery tickets and I only won 300 yen.
B: It's better than nothing.

C: I only ate a piece of toast and three grapes for breakfast.
D: I guess that's better than not having breakfast.
C: Yeah. I need to go shopping.

E: I dropped my phone and the screen cracked. I hate this piece of shit.
F: It's better than not having a phone. You should be more careful.

That's it!
